• Bonus Scavenger Hunt for English 110: In class, you will be directed to this (my teaching weblog) and from here you will need to find the following items in the list below and then record/bring what you find to my office (location found in the syllabus – same place where you found the URL to this weblog). This Scavenger Hunt can be done in groups of three or less people and is worth 10 bonus points.
  On a sheet of paper, place your name (and if necessary, your groupmate’s names) and the answers to the following:
  FIND the following on campus:
  1) One of our vocabulary words used in an announcement on a bulletin board (write down the word, where you found it – what building/floor/etc, and what the announcement was about).
  2) The citation of an article found in any of the magazines in the library (write on the same paper that #1′s answer is on). This citation has to be written out correctly in order to receive the 10 points (Remember: citations are double-spaced!).
  3) Where are the men’s & women’s bathrooms in Old Main? (Place answers on same sheet as #2 & #3).
