<- Why it’s Sushi; my kitty cat who chases streams of light.
What should a teacher do with student evaluations? I have constantly wondered this. Most teachers say to focus on the positive, and if there isn’t much on the negative side (only one or two unsatisfied students), then don’t even worry about what they said, etc. I may add, though, that it is tough to dismiss those “Below Average” and “Average” remarks. I want to be Above Average, and what I keep looking past is the fact that most of my students did fill in those circles. Perhaps it’s just nice to know that I strive to do well.
“You can’t make everyone happy all the time.”
I shouldn’t be so hard on myself; I bet my favorite teachers had students who didn’t like them or weren’t satisfied with their classes. Hmph.
