As of today, I have 30 very diverse students in this English 120 Online course. And fiesty ones too. A few older-than-average, a few in the military, a few moms, some from different backgrounds (in comparison to the “typical white Mid-westerner”). Tomorrow, I head back up to Fargo for the Entreprenuership gathering at the Fargodome – should be interesting. Thursday will be another quiet day, but I think I am going to set up the ThinkWave gradesheets so I can hand those out in Friday’s classes.
It is somewhat of an “easy” week for me, but that just means more time for preparation & work on this English 120 course. I hope to have the redevelopment of it completed in the next week or so.
Oh, and brighter news for my summer: NDSU is offering a class called Gender & Communication! I am so excited…
