  • Ah… another new look. The black background was too dreary for me. And Doris Day! What a great image, eh? I thought so too. I am thinking I like the red & purple colors with the basic grays/blacks as well.

  • I like it, but it’s a bit difficult to read the text on top. I bet you no longer us a blackboard! Oh how I wish people proof-read their articles, papers and notices in shop windows – or better still get someone else to! (Someone that can spell correctly, and knows how important good grammar still is.

  • Which text “on top”? The text under the banner? I suppose I could enlarge the text overall?

    I think I have only used a chalkboard in the older classrooms of my alma mater’s buildings (NDSU). I don’t recall using one during my student teaching at West Fargo (but it’s possible), and when I taught high school in MN, we had white boards. I have all whiteboards now too.

    Is there something controversial underlying the change from blackboards to whiteboards? Or is it simply easier to take care of whiteboards? Easier to read off of too? Huh.
