• Thinking via the blog: If I put this module into English 120 Online… and I replace the Individual Project with it, what do I do with the other three papers AND do I remove the topic for the first one (“Are You A Stereotype?”)? I think I may delete Paper 3 (combine those points into this bigger project) and then just have Paper 1 & 2 as the main papers (maybe extend their lengths a bit?). I may take the topic for Paper 3 (Define a controversial word) and put that in Paper 2′s slot and delete the topic for Paper 2 (Argue about something in the media)… maybe having students start off looking at themselves as stereotypes towards the beginning of the semester will add a nice other aspect to when they are looking at the stereotypes they have of other people? The whole concept of: “Well, gee… I don’t want to be stereotyped, so why should I do that in return?”
