(English 110) Call it luck: The “Would You Like Fries With That?” essay worked well after students finished the phrase, “Writing is like…” on Monday in the Class Blog. It was logically the next step, in many ways, to look at how writing can be broken up.
Funny sidenote: One of the “free samples” in the “Fries” essay was called Listing. Many students liked creating a Listing… and, essentially, it’s a POEM. Sheesh. Call it something different, and they love it. Huh.
