  • Well, I was the last one to finish the 10K this morning, but my time was where I was hoping it would be (just over 75 minutes). I ran really hard (next to my sister) for the first 3, so by mile 5, I was exhausted – just focusing on putting one foot in front of the other (without walking). The rabbit came back to escort me (that was embarassing), yet I won 1st in my age group for the 10K (if I was last, you know what that means). Beyond having that out of the way, I’m pumped up that I ran over 15 miles this week, I’m happy the Bison won, and I’m oddly excited about a new hobby introduced to me by my sister = coloring in a coloring book before bedtime. It sounds SO de-stressful. She’s brilliant!

De-stressing is the key of the weekend. After the week (and morning) I’ve had, I deserve it. Now, if the humidity could just take a hike.
