  • While the weekend was quite the relaxer, I still pondered a few things I hadn’t thought of in awhile.
    1) Siblings are like significant others, “you can’t live with ‘em and you can’t live without them.”
    2) People can change, but they have to want to change. One person can’t force another to do so.
    3) I’m a bulldog; if you tick off my “owners” or, in this case, close friends/family, you are going to see the bulldog in me. And I’ll bark forever.
    4) I detest cheap shots whether they come from students OR family.
    5) I know who I am, and I know who I like. If I don’t like you, I’m not going to bother with you. And if you get on my bad side, see #3.
    6) If you are wrong, admit it and apologize. I do it all the time, even in front of students.
    7) People are like literature; they can be read and sometimes misinterpreted.
