This week… I’m like the little engine that could…
I have about 3.5 classes “checkmarked”
(the .5 is due to one class having 15 more min to hand in their Shortfolios) & 2 will get wrapped up Monday…
I have two crockpots of stew deliciously smelling up my apt right now,
and
I’m fairly finished with my Christmas shopping (completed that task in about 3 hours last night).I’ve already revised the handout for the Shortfolio. I’m keeping that assignment/activity as my final project, yet I am going to: a) have them take one of the four project/papers from the semester to translate into another genre (the Media Memoir, the Stretch Project, the PPT MusicVideo, or the Multi-Genre Paper), b) have that second genre has to be 100+ words in length, c) have the presentations be more than them just talking about what they did – they’ll actually show off the genres to the class, and d) allot more time to the presentations since I allotted too much time to the workdays (revising from 3.5 workdays & 1 presentation day to 2 workdays and 3 presentation days, including the Final Exam Time).
Today, I have more grading and cleaning to do… but after about 6pm,
it’s all about the holiday parties and potlucks which will last me through tomorrow night.
I’ll wrap up the week by celebrating a special someone’s birthday!
