Well, I gave in.
I have constant internet at the apartment now.
I figured it was time; plus, I am not feeling all that great today. Had a sore throat yesterday morning and then biked around in the rainy-chilly-weather. So, I ended up not being able to breath through both nostrils last night. I just DETEST when that happens. Errrg. Pet peeve = illness. Anyhow, I am hoping to take it easy today. I should probably suck down lots of fluids and nap (especially since I didn’t sleep well last night – nostril situation & body temp couldn’t stay consistant), but it’s hard for me to do so. Very hard.Anyhow, the second showing of the SATC movie was excellent. I didn’t sob like my dog had died this time, yet I did notice a few things I hadn’t the first time around. [If you haven't seen the movie & want to see it soon, move eyes away from screen now.] First off, Carrie’s transformation brunette hair is a wig which I should’ve guessed, but I noticed it this time when she doesn’t wear it up. Secondly, isn’t Smith a recovering alcoholic? He pours champagne in the New Year’s Eve scene. Maybe it’s not for him, but whatever. Lastly, Big is possibly cutting up steak in that New Year’s Eve scene too – didn’t his character have heart surgery in Season 6 (he even says that he’s supposedly eating his last steak in that episode with Carrie)? I feel kinda cool that I noticed these things. I hear there’s even a book out about all the fashions the ladies are wearing; that was one area I couldn’t pinpoint. I may know my jean pockets, but I don’t know the high end designers enough. OH, and as for that crazy blue bird in Carrie’s wedding hair, I noticed that when the girls go to Fashion Week, a few models are sporting the blue feathers in their hair AND some model is wearing a dress that looks like Carrie’s first wedding gown = so, essentially, even though I found the first wedding outfit odd, it was to show that she was ahead of the times fashion-wise? That’s my interpretation.
Okay. Rest rest rest.
