Food poisoning. YAY! No, not really…
I’m not going to go into details (because I don’t even want to relive Friday night/Saturday morning ever again), but I’ve officially experienced food poisoning. And it came after a week where I was doing so well with my exercise. Now, I barely have the strength to walk around the apartment for more than 5 minutes without feeling dizzy. Yesterday was horrible. My ‘diet’ consisted of water, pepto, Diet 7up, and then around 7pm, I finally ate two breadsticks. It took forever to get those down. Today, I feel a bit better, but my stomach is in knots. One minute it feels hungry, the next nausea. I have no idea when I’ll be able to exercise again (hoping for Tuesday at the latest)… but I suppose I should focus on getting well instead of when I can start sweating.Oh, and the culprit, we (my mom & I) think, was probably bad tomatoes (or chicken?) in the salad I had Friday night. She did some googling for me too yesterday and discovered that dehydration could kill me at this point (awesome), and that it could take up to four days for all of this to get out of my system. Again, awesome! Ugh.
Just looking for sympathy points.
Actually, if someone could give me a new stomach…
