The Ten Awesome Things About TODAY:
1- Funky hair = Funky attitude. (Used a wave-making-iron yesterday.)
2- It wasn’t 90 degrees! It was 70 with low humidity! And the weird poofy clouds were so cool.
3- My phone was buzzing with three people who I like to hear from.
4- People who honk at me to make sure I see them wave “Hello” (Barb!).
5- The Office Season 4 mini-marathon with my own bathroom breaks.
6- Good food (Turkey sammies, chicken enchiladas, fresh fruit) & some apple dessert cooking right now in crockpot. To be eaten later with soy-based icecream and carmel topping. Mm mm.
7- Students who say “Hi” to me at Walmart.
8- NEW magazines (Glamour & Lucky) in my mailbox!
9- Thank You cards from friends in far-away places (Fran!).
10- Sleeping in after a week of feeling like I just couldn’t get enough sleep.

I always feel a bit of satisfaction when students recognize me off-campus, like saying hi in the grocery store.
Have you ever had tofu ice cream? It’s quite good, though I’m not sure where you’ll be able to find it, considering you’re from Minnesota?
@heyitzlong - I may have seen that in the health section at the grocery store… I’m a football toss away from MN; Wahpeton, ND & Breckenridge, MN share the river (the “Red” that is)…
