While this chart leans conservatively (and I’d like an objective one… maybe this list is better?… or this one and it’s updated counterpart?), I still may use it and other handouts/quizzes in FYE Monday to get students thinking about the election more…?
I also have handouts on Measures 1 & 2 in my bag that I grabbed from the Student Center… and Betty helped me with what to tell students in regards to where to vote in town based on where they live on campus (if they do). North of Old Main = City Hall (Ward 3?) & South of Old Main = the Middle School (Ward 4, I think). They need to bring an I.D. and probably a bill showing they live in town.{I like these videos too, since they’re liberal, but the web site has McCain ads… very odd.}
Quizzes (from a web site that leans conservatively, btw):
How liberal or conservative are you?
Should you vote Republican or Democrat?
Who should you vote for?A quiz that’s slightly liberal-leaning:
Are you a Democrat or Republican?American History: A bunch of quizzes!
Even the States & Capitals Quiz! Man, that takes me back…
