So, I said something really ridiculous today at lunch. It just came out. And while no one called me on it, it was a semi-inappropriate thing to say in front of educated people. I hate when I slip up and look like an idiot. I'm usually better about catching things in class or in front of other professors. Usually.
Beyond that, I've realized that my Paper 2 in English 110 is almost like a test. Sure, it's research-based, but with the requirements (because it's multi-genre) it's almost a "how can I take all this research and make it work in this paper?" sort of concept. Some get it, and some don't. Some still throw together stuff and think it'll work. It's like they don't read the quiz correctly and they give me something they think works; they need to check the requirements. [Does X, Y, and Z add up to the right amount of stuff for P2?]
On my way through the snow to campus today, I had an idea that I'm certain I wanted to blog. It has completely left me now though. Errrg.
