So, I'm certain those were my slowest two miles I've run in a long while... but it's been months since I ran, so what could I expect? And with half the sidewalks covered in snow and ice... well, it's tough to keep pace. Just when I'm feeling low, but a good kind of tired from my 3+ mile workout, I read this. And knowing that only 3% of Americans run (5Ks-Marathons), and that .13% have completed marathons... well, it's nice to know how much this suicidal obsession of mine is in the minority.
Plus, how many people would lace up on a Sunday, after a football game, when it's barely over the freezing mark temperature-wise? Yea. I need to shape up my mind as much as my body, eh?
FJ: (b) coffee + oatmeal. (l) ckn tortilla soup... 2 cups w/chips, no cheese + water. (late snack now) yogurt + small Archer Farms mini-p.butter bar. (d) ckn tortilla soup (2 cups w/chips, no cheese) + 150cal of gummies candy + water.
