  • So, I just returned from another trip east into lakes country. My sisters & I met up in DL yesterday to eat at Zorbaz and whatnot... then this morning, I headed back that way - via a different route - for a flea market. It was fun to just check out the items and purchase a few small vintage-y pieces of jewelry. A weird ring, 2 necklaces, a set of earrings... all for about $5. There were other things that caught my eye: a welcome sign with a moose on it (love love moose - will wait until we actually have a house for that sort of welcome sign), a vintage chair ($10! but I already have two I need to re-cover), and... a Heddon tin sign (the bf has a few of those). I just couldn't bring myself to splurge on those items. Who knows, they could still be there in a month?!

Now, before I crash like people should crash on Sunday evenings, I'm going to work on my Chuck chapter for a wee bit. I typically whack away at it for an hour or two at a time, leaving myself still stuff to say as I quit; I've heard writers shouldn't write everything down in one sitting. A person should leave some ideas in their head for next time so as to not ask for writer's block. This could just be a goofy theory... intended for people who procrastinate too much or something.

FJ: (b) cappuccino truffle + 2 small servings of cereal. (late lunch about an hour ago) Arby's #3 comb. (s) 1 slice of leftover Mexican pizza. (d) leftover lo mein & ckn pieces from Chinese take-out. (s) yogurt?
