  • Obama as an Idiot?

I read someone's FB status about how Sanford Health is donating some odd million or billion to one of the athletic arenas on NDSU's campus. The issue was that the money could be used for those who can't afford healthcare, etc. Before I could gather my first response to this, as I had heard about it on the radio this morning too without a reaction (maybe it was too early), I read the comments to the status. Some guy who I don't know called Obama an idiot. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I called Bush an idiot, among other colorful words, when he was in office. I have a fairly lengthy argument in my head as to why he WAS an idiot, and Obama is not, but MY POINT IS that I immediately wanted to prove the people of the status/comment situation WRONG. If the dude wouldn't have used that term, I may have sided with this group. Isn't that crazy?

People wanted change; a majority of people did and that's why Obama was voted in. Now, people haven't seen change quickly enough OR those who didn't want change... just want things to return to the pre-change years? Isn't that strange, too, that people who want change NOW didn't want change before. Either way, change is a word that's brought up a lot lately. Change in the education system. Change over here, change over there. And, here's another thing = if Bush was leading us down the craphole for 8 years, how far are we supposed to be by now? Half way up the craphole in less than half the time? I don't get it, and I never will I suppose.

People like to complain, however, and then do nothing about it. Yep. I said it aloud.

Oh, and people like to tell others what to do with their money, but when it comes to their money, don't tell them what to do with it. Do as I say, don't do as I do. Mm hmm...
