  • And, this is when my scheduled presentations seem to fall apart. Students sign up for a particular date and time to present their P5s/PPT MusicVideos. Friday went well; one or two snuck in early so they wouldn't have to worry about presenting this week. But now, already this morning, I had one unable to present... two others didn't have music working in theirs, and I just received a few emails about other issues with presenting today. What's that saying... the best-laid plans something something. Maybe they think I'm a pushover, and I'm not going to implement my "no late presentations" rule that is clearly in the P5 Handout?

Ugh. At least the snow outside is pretty...
I'm thankful for living in a place where we have seasons. Even if the seasons can be broken down into: the season I wear sox and the season I don't.
I'm thankful for health in my family and me.
I'm thankful for the short week.
I'm thankful for the students who don't drive me nuts.
I'm thankful for people who read whether they read cereal boxes or magazines or novels or my emails.
I'm thankful for the eternity scarf around my neck; it's so warm and I made it by cutting the bottom off a big striped sweater.
I'm thankful for my Hello Kitty radio that was $6 (90% off post-Christmas special a few years back); she plays 107.9 The Fox and my iPod. Done and done.
I'm thankful for peanut butter and jelly sammies.

*I woke up at like 2am this morning; I started reading The How of Happiness. I'll probably read that and Chuck's Downtown Owl at the same time.
