Word.
I like words. I was thinking today, on my way from "getting soy milk" to "home sweet home" about different license plates I could create with more words I like. Yes, this is probably what geeks/nerds/dorks think about. I'm okay with that. I'm okay with a lot of stuff I do and say and think. That alone probably means something goofy.
Okay. My point of this blog entry was to remind myself to write down more words I like. Yep = giving myself homework again. Again. I need more words for names... names of iTunes playlists (PerfumedEye, Flabbergasted, Hippopotamus, etc.) and names of USBs and folders (Klondike Bar, Fallopian, Moose, etc.) and general labels of things. The purple ball on my desk with squid-like rubbery fingers? Johan. The wooden rabbit on my desk? Herman.
Names are important. Says the girl with the name Sybil. A name she didn't like for a long time because no one else had it. True story.
Sometimes we have to be "on our own" early on to really figure out who we are. Sometimes. I think that's a rule of mine. Confused? = Go be alone for a day or week or hour, kiddo. Another rule: Books are your friends. So are quotation marks. I have a lot of strange rules.
