  • The Importance of Math (in English classes).

    1. When a student freaks out about a small assignment, and they have an "A" in the class*, I wonder if they've gotten their math all screwed up or something.
    2. When a student misses a few 10pt assignments, and they don't look at the Gradebook to see HOW MANY MORE POINTS WE HAVE. Errrg.
    3. There is one of me, and many of them. They don't always think of the "math" when it comes to assessment.
*Whether they earn a 90.1% or a 115.6%, the transcript will still just show "A." Silly rabbits.
