  • It's a Google Reader Kind of Day.

I should probably get super smart and place some important sites in my syllabus, eh?
Here are some that I've come across today via the blogs I view in my Google Reader:
http://www.thenounproject.com/ = A collection of many images they could use in projects or for Flickr/Pixlr activities.
http://phrays.com/ is a "simple site that publishes a new word of the day everyday." = This could be the new way to start class?
    http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-websites-cure-writers-block-writing-prompts/ = Prompts...
    http://elev8ed.org/ = Videos by students.
    http://www.diagram.ly/ = Makes diagrams...
http://challenge.treas.gov/ = National Financial Capability Challenge is "online test for high school students to test their knowledge of personal finance terms and concepts." Useful for FYE, I'm sure.
