  • Sunday's Political Thoughts.

    I get the feeling that the big wigs of this country, the ones who are greedy & have power & are probably old white dudes, would love to keep the people, who aren't in their circles of power & money, dumb. Keep us uneducated. Keep us in the dark. Because, as I've noticed as a teacher, when the ones below you are not intelligent, your job is easier. One can tell them anything. But I like those students who challenge me. Let's BOTH learn! However, that's not how politics work. They have interests. Perhaps, if I got paid by publishing companies, I'd tell students to buy from them & not buy used on Amazon... but I doubt it; I'm frugal & like recycling... but that's me.

    The big wigs also don't want women to have power or a say. They want to tell us what to do with our bodies. They want us to look sexual & not speak. They don't want to offer us services like birth control for free (but they'd like Viagra at a discount) in order to cut down on the need for abortions. I ask myself a lot, "What is the true root of X's problem?"

    If The People are The Gov't, then we the people should help each other. The rich want to keep getting richer, but at the cost of what? Those below them who didn't, supposedly work hard enough to make themselves rich. Look at those who are rich. How'd they get there?
