  • this song makes me so energized.

I JUST WANT TO FEEL THIS MOMENT.
Live in the present, kids. Live in the present, people.
  • repeat and pete were out in a boat.

Pete: I think this gay marriage stuff is just… really gay.

    Repeat: Well, I don’t really care…
Pete: Care about what? Do you want to see guys kissing, dude?
    Repeat: Well, I just don’t think…
    Pete: DUDE. It’s gross!
Repeat: Yeah, I guess you’re right.
    I hope the boat sank.
  • think before you speak. duh.

Project 6, in Eng110, asks students to answer the question “Who Am I?” with 5+ genres & two of those have to be created by them.

A student, today on the first workday, after I’ve explained what genres might be “easiest” to create on their own (charts, poems, stories), asks:
“What do you mean, create our own? I don’t get it.”
    Oooofta.
  • I made this here; you can too!
  • they are ideas.

Eng110 = Project 2: They have to create some sort of flow chart, in addition to the Prezi and Animoto, and the paper gets narrowed down into genres that they have to create of the person they are researching.

Eng110 = Create a Project 2.5: They have to create a funky creative resume of the person they have just researched.
Eng110 = Projects 1, 1.5, and 3 all seem okay right now. Project 4 should include, instead of fake resumes?, creative resumes… or maybe that’s the first small project OR that goes with Project 6?
Eng110 = Project 6 changes to more genres created by them?
Eng110 = Project 7 should maybe have more options with the authors or different options or maybe I should incorporate flow charts and other visual items into that final project?
Eng110 = Final Test has many options now, and I like that idea thus far.
  • God’s on Twitter.

  • From the Shoebox blog.
  • Funky – Creative – Resumes…

I’m fascinated, recently, by really creative resumes…

Found the first three on Pinterest. The last is my own attempt (at a fake, creative one).
  • 5am.
    Up.
    Ugh.
So, I made coffee & I’m assessing some things in that 3pm class using my iPad. Plus, I have a cat on my lap…
Got lunch with M & a drink with T to look forward to if the weather doesn’t kick our butts.

Yesterday, Einstein’s birthday = the “god particle” was created or discovered in Europe somewhere. This particle makes mass out of nothing, or something to that effect. Super cool & nerdy! More nerdness: It was Pi day yesterday, too: 3.14…

  • Today: Assess the small assignments in my 1pm class + create baby shower gifts for Amy & Hilary.

Tomorrow: Assess the small assignments in my 3pm class + ?
Over the Weekend: Attend Amy’s baby shower + ?
Next Week: Assess leftover stuff in 10am class + P2/P3 in the 1pm/3pm classes + online course (Eng120+CW211) stuff, too…
