I’m fascinated with text today. And leave it to a book on design to have quotes like these:
“Ever notice that ‘What the heck’ is always the right decision” (Nancy Davis 136)? and
“Today’s mighty oak is just yesterday’s nut that held its ground” (138).
I really have a thing for wanting to put together documents (even the most basic of handouts for my students) that are aesthetically pleasing & fun to look at.

My Dad always said it was always better to make a decision. even the wrong decision, than not to make a decision at all. If you make a good decision that’s great, but if it’s the wrong decision you can usually reverse it, eat humble pie and apologise. I like the Benedictine adage too that “Every Day We Begin Again” i.e. if we foul it up today, we get another chance tomorrow, especially if we always endeavour to make peace with anyone we’ve upset by nightfall.
Have a good Christmas!
