  • I’ve debated all weekend (and parts of last Friday) on what to do with today’s classes (English 110, in particular). Since Wednesday will be taken over by the students team-teaching various genres we didn’t get to, and Friday will be devoted to Peer Review, I thought I’d end my last lecture on a positive note. With Ellen’s DVD called Here and Now. It works into today’s class simply because we are looking at the genres of reviews & commentary. The activity will work well with the genres covered, and the only downfall is that the DVD is 60 minutes long.

Next week for this class will be focused on finishing up Paper 3 with Writing Conferences Monday and Wednesday (P3 is due Friday). Friday and Monday and Finals Week are comprised of the Final-Final activities (a Test, an in-class essay, a survey, etc.).
