Or/and "The Definition" by Brandy... or a definition of the F-Bomb. ||| Complete My Words  (visual = use Wordia? Lexipedia? visuwords.com? qwiki?). ||| Compose a Mini-Argument for Wednesday (theme? group-based?). ||| Do we have a chapter to read too (or any Chuck?)? Shall we add an activity to it?
    I have a lot of question marks. That statement should be my motto.

    Instead of saying "Right?" all the time, at the end of my sentences, I need to switch it up. Got any ideas?
    Oh, and I have decided on another, somewhat un-related, phrase to say to people who want to one-up me or something.
    "You win."
    Isn't that what people want to hear anyhow?

    1. Hand in/share Imaginary Conversations. 2. Complete last CB in Unit 2 (reliable sources and people and then The You Paper = all due IN CLASS). On Wednesday: Bigger introduction to P2 and talk about Chuck #6 and the Chapter on Definition (mixed with Chuck = assignment).

    English 120: Writing Conferences in my office, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday. To switch your meeting time, check the sign-up sheet on my office door - please do not email me.
    English 110: No class (long story about a meeting mix-up), but there is an assignment (dealing with George Carlin) due for Wednesday. P1 was due this last Saturday; we start P1.5 on Wednesday.

  • Argue With Me.

    Rogerian Argument = bring up the other side of your issue to bring in more readers
    Versus
    Toulmin Argument = uses claims that are typically controversial and has three pieces: claim, evidence, and warrant.

    And is this video correct (Which came first? The Chicken or the Egg?)?
    The third party piece necessary for this argument to be solved is religion?
    It would be a cool debate for my students.
